Our mission
Facilitate a welcoming and safe place for women, children and the community that
provides essential services while ensuring individual dignity is preserved.
The children we serve
The Centre of Love Foundation was established in the year 2017 and formally registered as a
community-based organization. Inspired by a great sense of community service, Jeremiah Mumo,
Anthony Hulula and Patrice Henning, all of whom are alumni of St. Mary’s University of Minnesota
founded the Centre as a safe space for underserved women and children. The Centre provides clean
and safe water, toilet services and community-focused initiatives targeting Water, Sanitation and
Hygiene.

Kibera resident are affected and with residents unable to earn money for food, the situation turned dire. For $20 (US) a local family can be provided with a week’s worth of food.
